The Universal Genève Uni-Compax represents everything the manufacture did exceptionally well during the golden era of chronographs in the 1950s. This beautiful example is housed in a large 37.5 mm 18k yellow gold case with characteristic square pushers, giving the watch both elegance and strong wrist presence.

The unique brown tropical dial offers perfect balance and legibility, highlighting the clean chronograph layout that made the Uni-Compax so admired by collectors.

Inside beats the celebrated Universal Genève Cal. 285, a reliable and finely engineered manual chronograph movement. In outstanding condition, this piece is a superb example of mid-century chronograph design in solid gold.
